Located at the confluence of the Lost and Methow Rivers, this small community is 7 miles north of Mazama, adjacent to the North Cascades National Park, the Pasayten Wilderness and Okanogan National Forest. Follow the locals to the local swimming holes. Hiking, biking and ski trails are easily reached from your front door. A small accessible airport with a grass runway is at the center for those arriving by small plane. Snowmobiling and skiing are favorites on the river as well as the runway or nearby groomed trails during the winter. Lost River boasts the most snowfall of the Methow Valley. Spectacular mountain views and wildlife help you know you've come to get away from it all.
