No SmokingThis is a Grand Home. A Lodge, really....Located at Wilson Ranch, just upstream from the Mazama turn-off, at the base of the North Cascades Highway as it begins to climb. It is one of the homes in the Freestone Inn complex, and therefore enjoys some of the amenities such as a hot tub and easy access to the Freestone’s restaurant.
This 3,200 sq. ft home features a vaulted living room with a wood fireplace and a wondrous view to the north of Goat Peak. The kitchen is first-rate, and the dining area easily seats 8. Access to a covered deck is just off the kitchen, as is a bathroom. At the other end of the main floor is the game/entertainment room, with pool table and television with surround sound. Just off this room is a main-floor main bedroom with a queen bed and a 3/4 bath.
Upstairs, a lofted hallway splits the space into two wings. Above the kitchen is the main bedroom with a king bed, television, and 3/4 bathroom. There is a small deck off this bedroom that looks west into the nearby trees. On the other side, above the game room are two bedrooms and a shared bath. One bedroom has two twin beds. The other has a queen bed. Both bedrooms also have TVs en suite.

Beautiful home, secluded though in a community setting. Close to hiking and tourist attractions. Comfortable beds, many extra amenities. No complaints at all!
This is a very elegant property. Perfectly furnished to fit in with the outdoor lodge theme. Well appointed kitchen with premium appliances (Subzero fridge, Wolf gas stove, etc). The building is very privately situated in a wooded glen with a private drive. Very quiet and dark at night. We really enjoyed our stay while day hiking the North Cascades park.

The house is very spacious and our group of eight really enjoyed warming up around the fire after a great day of skiing to/from the house! The kitchen has plenty of space to gather and prep for meals. It also has two ovens and lots of spices to choose from. There were some coffee pods, but our group also brought ground coffee to ensure we had enough for everyone. There's also an electric kettle, plenty of pots and pans, and gadgets for cooking. There are plenty of extra towels for showers and accessing the hot tub down the road. It's a beautiful home with lots of space for everyone.

We enjoyed the pool table, the kitchen, the quiet and the space! There was so much room to spread out and enjoy each other. The views were fantastic!
Wonderful stay, the best lodging we have had, and this was our 13th year visiting the Methow. The house was very inviting, with plenty of room for cooking, dining, and visiting. The kitchen was a well stocked dream. Bedrooms were roomy and comfortable. We will be back next winter!

Beautifully decorated home with lots of space for the entire family. Secluded and extremely comfortable, yet close to trails.
This is our 2nd year staying at Black Bear Lodge with friends. The house is large enough to still feel like you aren't on top of each other. The kitchen has everything you need to cook your meals. We love being able to ski from the house to trails and also in to Mazama for lunch or a beer. We would happily stay here again!
