This dog friendly remodeled home is located about 2 blocks from Winthrop's one-and-only 4-way stop. In the 1940’s it was once a much smaller house but was expanded and remodeled with quirky and charming character including the coved doorways. On the main floor there is a good-sized living room with propane stove and A/C, a bedroom with A/C, large kitchen, full bathroom with tub/shower combo and bright dining room. The newly remodeled kitchen features new cabinets, countertop, stove, dishwasher, 4-door fridge (open from middle), one cup keurig maker(bring your own keurig coffee) and stovetop espresso maker. There is a ‘mud room’ for your gear, or waxing skis, just before you head upstairs.
On the second floor you’ll find a master bedroom with king bed, private bathroom and sunset porch with a view of Mt. Gardner and the sounds of the Chewuch river; another bedroom with a queen size bed and a shared hallway bathroom. At the end of the hallway is a laundry room, plus an open 'bonus room', with two double beds and Smart TV. All bedrooms have A/C.
Living Room has big-screen Roku TV, DVD player, and vintage stereo with Bluetooth connectivity for personalized music from your phone; and board games. Full Kitchen has dishwasher, pots, pans and serving dishes and utensils, slow cooker, full spice rack, Slow cooker, Panni press,Rice cooker, Electric fry pan, Cuisinart coffee maker, French press, Coffee grinder and more. Nice big dining room table for all to gather around. Bring your slippers as the kitchen floor can be cool! Free fuzzy socks are provided. There is an EV charger 48amps, J1772/CCS Tesla owners bring NACS to CCS adapter.

This is a very conveniently located and spacious house.
This house is walking distance from everything in town, so it is very convenient. The house is old but is cozy and has a nice updated kitchen with everything we needed to make meals. The house is surprisingly clean. The beds were comfortable. It was a really nice place to stay.

Beautiful house in probably the best location possible in regards to town accessibility. We enjoyed the back patio in the mornings and at night. Great house and will consider again when returning to Winthrop!
Lovely older home that was a great place to stay that can accommodate many people! Plenty of seating in the dining and living room. Every bedroom had cooling options for the warm eastern side of Washington! Getting to downtown Winthrop was very walkable from the location of the home. Would highly recommend this place for a weekend away with family and or friends.

What a great location! Loved being walking distance to everything, as well as so close to some great hiking. Loved having the fenced yard for our dog also. Everything we needed was at the house, including some great games and puzzles. Would love to come back, and this house could hold a few couples so a great place for a group. We were so comfortable during our stay!
