No SmokingHome on the river...an amazing location less than a mile from town but situated in a quiet spot in the woods.
An evolving cabin...becoming more refined all the time. It isn’t large, but it’s open. The living/dining/kitchen area is a great place to hang out or work from home. It opens up to a large, west-facing deck, just above the Chewuch River. The internet is "reliable and consistent" according to the owner.
Kitchen has all new stainless-steel appliances including full-size fridge with pull-out freezer and chef’s gas stove and oven, with a convection baking option. There is a microwave and a BBQ available for outdoor cooking. The bathroom is completely upgraded with full tub, separate shower and state of the art, full-sized stacking washer/dryer.
Upstairs, there is a larger loft bedroom which opens onto a second story deck overlooking the river. There is also a second, smaller enclosed bedroom with a twin trundle bed that sleeps two. There is a door is between the bedrooms, but not from the stairs into the main bedroom.
A modern air conditioning unit is available for hot summer months, and the propane stove is perfect for winter.Fully-stocked kitchen. Wi-fi. Smart TV. Bluetooth speaker.
This is a 30 day "extended stay rental" home, and a fun place to view wildlife from.

Loved the deck and the lawn and the river beach. Loved the color of the river and the trout we caught. Loved the slack-line! We would have used a propane BBQ unit.
We enjoyed the woodstove and the firepit (and the plentiful wood supply). Bed was very comfortable with nice linens. Plentiful good quality kitchen appliances and cooking tools. Wifi was reliable most of the time, but we had to reset the router a few times. Nice walks nearby and walkable to town.

I missed Rugs. Microwave. Real mattress in guest room. Door on master bedroom/ I hung a curtain. I’m Not complaining - I realize this is a cabin! I loved the bathroom- tub and heated floor. Washer/dryer. The location is gorgeous! Master bed very comfortable. Stove and oven are great. Nice filtered water. I was plenty warm! Never needed the wood stove. Thanks for all the tools for snow control. I had a great stay!
