An evolving cabin...becoming more refined all the time. It isn’t large, but it’s open. The living/dining/kitchen area is a great place to hang out or work from home. It opens onto a large, west-facing deck just above the Chewuch River. The internet is “reliable and consistent,” according to the owner.
The kitchen has all-new stainless-steel appliances, including a full-size fridge with a pull-out freezer and a chef’s gas stove and oven with a convection baking option. There is a microwave and a BBQ available for outdoor cooking. The bathroom is completely upgraded with a full tub, a separate shower, and a state-of-the-art full-size stackable washer/dryer.
Upstairs, there is a larger loft bedroom that opens onto a second-story deck overlooking the river. There is also a second, smaller enclosed bedroom with a twin trundle bed that sleeps two. There is a door between the bedrooms, but not from the stairs into the main bedroom.
A modern air-conditioning unit is available for the hot summer months, and the propane stove is perfect for winter. Fully stocked kitchen. Wi-fi. Smart TV. Bluetooth speaker.
This is a 30-day “extended stay rental” home and a fun place to view wildlife.

Loved the deck and the lawn and the river beach. Loved the color of the river and the trout we caught. Loved the slack-line! We would have used a propane BBQ unit.
We enjoyed the woodstove and the firepit (and the plentiful wood supply). Bed was very comfortable with nice linens. Plentiful good quality kitchen appliances and cooking tools. Wifi was reliable most of the time, but we had to reset the router a few times. Nice walks nearby and walkable to town.

I’m coming back next year! I suggest you leave the washer open when cabin not in use. It smelled like mold when I arrived.
