This one-bedroom apartment is above the garage. The house comes next...sometime. Until then this stand-alone Wolf Creek retreat is great for an extended visit (30 days or longer only)

The two-car garage is available for guests. Laundry facilities are located at ground level, and because of freezing this garage is heated in winter. Upstairs is a 900 square foot one-bedroom apartment, with living area/dining/and kitchen occupying the great room. There is a twin trundle bed at the head of the stairs for the occasional guest. The large, west-facing bedroom features a king bed and plenty of space. A full bath with tub/shower is fresh and new, like the house.

From the deck, one can toss a rock and hit the Methow ski trail. It's that close. The trail, at that point is approximately 6 flat ski-miles from Winthrop, and 15 adventurous miles to Mazama. Guess it depends on how you're feeling which way you go. In summer, many use the county roads for a 5 mile ride into town. Additionally, this lot is contiguous to the Methow River, and according to the owner, "The river is awesome and is quite easy to get to going down the ski trail then bearing off to a well traveled path."

There is a ski waxing station at the house. Please use your own waxes. Dogs are allowed but only non-shedding breeds. Contact us before booking.
