No SmokingThe home has principal views to the west and north. Sun bathes the interior all year (though there are shades for those summer afternoons). 360-Degree Views. Heated Floors. Open Concept Layout. The main house is one larger space with a master King bedroom with full bath. Just outside, on the west side, is a covered patio, with lounge furniture, Adirondack chairs, and gas grill. The kitchen is fully equipped, with dishes, flatware, glassware, coffee maker, coffee grinder, ice maker, microwave and toaster
Just outside, 15 feet away, is the detached studio. Originally built as an artist's studio/office, it serves as a second separate bedroom, with queen bed, half bath, and studio kitchenette. It's own world, complete with a small loft space.
GENERAL: WiFi, A/C, central heat, washer/dryer, telescope, hair dryer, towels/linens, complimentary toiletries. Not suitable for children under 15 due to decor & sleeping accommodations. Covered parking for 1 car is available, with ample driveway parking.

Wonderful views and nice spot!
A beautiful location and very close to town. Easy to get to restaurants and shops. Very comfortable and it was a bonus for allergy sufferers that linens were washed in unscented products We enjoyed our stay here, and would choose this place again.
GORGEOUS GORGEOUS GORGEOUS. impeccably designed and beautiful spot right close to the main drag in Winthrop. We enjoyed coffee mornings with mule deer all about the house, and sunsets over the surrounding mountains.
This house is perfectly positioned to watch sunsets and enjoy long views of the surrounding hills and mountains and is a convenient spot for launching into North Cascades National Park or a 2 minute drive into Winthrop. Also this is a great spot for stargazing, as we were able to see the milky way with the naked eye. The kitchen is well stocked and the bed was comfy. Yes the toilets are positioned high as others have mentioned, but it wasn't a problem and we loved our time here. Would absolutely come back.

My favorite rental yet! The place and its sweeping views are stunning, private and peaceful. The separate casita was nice for my daughter. The hosts were friendly and helpful with recommendations for local activities. Visit them in town at the gallery. There are so many hikes and activities in the area. I’d love to come back. The town of Winthrop has some quaint shopping as well. Highlight of the trip was Liberty Bell Mountain. . Thank you for your recommendations for our stay. I made it to Thirty Mile and Pearrygin Lake. Everything about this stay was wonderful and you are both so friendly and helpful. Hope to see you in the future.
Our second stay at this beautiful house was just as lovely as the first. Gorgeous design details and setting. Love that it’s walking distance into Winthrop yet feels private and secluded. Very comfortable beds and furniture and well-appointed kitchen for cooking. Highly recommend to anyone seeking a mellow getaway with incredible views!
The perfect location - so close to Winthrop, yet it feels remote. Gorgeous views from the house with its many windows as well as from the front and side patios. The house is well designed, comfortable, and had everything we needed.

Beautiful house and surroundings. Very quiet and peaceful with amazing views. Outdoor sitting area is perfect to soak in the views. Can even just sit and watch some wildlife from birds (three birdhouses on property), to eagles, to maybe even a deer. We saw all three during our stay and absolutely loved it! Everything felt elevated and high end. Style was very nice and place felt modern and sleek. We did not stay in the guest house, but it looked awesome too. Guest house had full bathroom, kitchenette, and two beds. Main house was super nice. Huge windows to just look at the gorgeous landscape while cooking, playing board games, reading, chilling, or whatever. Space was perfect size for us two. Plenty of room, but still intimate. Overall I would highly recommend a stay here. We hope to be back sometime again!
Beautiful views and a beautiful house!
We had a great time at Rain’s End! Was nice to come back after a long hike and relax with a drink and enjoy the amazing views! We were 5 minutes away from town which was also a bonus. Place was perfect for 2 couples as we had privacy with the separate guest house. We would definitely stay again!
