This cabin was built in the 1960's from logs and timber taken from the nearby area. It was one of the first structures in the Edelweiss area and served as a hunter's camp complete with horse corral for trips into the back country. It was recently remodeled and now has a beautifully finished interior.

Fawn Creek Hideaway has fully equipped kitchen w/dishwasher & microwave, a beautiful and newly remodeled enclosed sunny breakfast nook, and living room with gas fireplace. TV, with Netflix and YouTubeTV is available, plus BBQ and table for relaxing in this wooded setting are all provided. There are two bedrooms, with queen beds, a queen-sized sofa sleeper in the living room, and two bathrooms.

Winter ski trail access is just minutes away by car, and summer walking, hiking and biking opportunities abound.

Comfortable cabin in a great location for spending time in Winthrop/Mazama and exploring the North Cascades. The sun room with heated floors and dry sauna felt so nice after our hiking days.

The covered deck had a beautiful woodsy view and the place was clean and cozy. The beds were really comfortable, the grill was clean and ready to use with plenty of gas ready, kitchen basics (oil, salt, pepper, coffee filters) were provided, and checkin/checkout was clear and easy. We loved our stay.

My wife and I were looking for a long weekend getaway and we found it! Normally, we stay at Sun Mountain Lodge but since they are under new ownership, it’s been difficult to have the same experience that we were used to. This cabin has character and charm. The open family room and kitchen have a ski lodge feel to it. All we did was stay at the cabin and read, drink coffee, and sit out on either deck to enjoy nature. It rained for a few hours one evening to make our surroundings come alive with the sights and smells of a damp forest. In fact, it brought a dry creek back to life if for even just one day. We could see this being a yearly occurrence for us. Perhaps twice a year to experience a different season each time. We appreciate the owners sharing their cabin for all to enjoy!

Beautiful cabin with super fun hang out spots! Go here to get off the grid a bit and be as close as possible to North cascades and the incredible Methow River. Great shops and restaurants not far away in Mazama and Winthrop. We really loved your home! Thanks for making it incredibly comfortable for us! The vibes were awesome!

This cabin was in a great, quiet location east of N. Cascades. The mini-split air conditioner was very appreciated during a July heat wave. During the evenings, it was comfortable out on the front deck. The house was very clean and well stocked. We would stay here again.

The new air conditioning unit was a blessing for the downstairs. We love everything about this place , and it's close to the trails we like to hike. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you would need to cook. The showers are great, and it's wonderful to have 2 full bathrooms.

This no frills cabin was a great place for our family of 4. We cooked our own meals, did laundry, and slept well after a busy day of exploring the Method Valley. We brought an extra cot to set up in the upstairs 2nd bedroom. The sauna was also very nice. Would very much like to return some day!

The sauna was great, really upgraded our stay, and the house was larger than we expected. The pictures don't do it justice. The only reason we wouldn't stay at this particular cabin again is because we'd like to explore more and see what else there is at Methow. However, the sauna was quite the luxury. It was everything we wanted in a cozy cabin.

We were two couples sharing the house for a nordic ski getaway. The cabin was adorable and nicely appointed; we all enjoyed the artwork. The porch with the heated floor that contained the dining table and a comfortable couch for reading was a really fun spot. The kitchen was big enough for more than one person to work in, and was very well supplied with kitchen items. We especially enjoyed the nice outdoor sauna. The brook in the backyard was wonderful too. The beds were comfortable. There was a nice front deck that was sunny and would be fun in the warmer weather. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely make a return visit.

The sauna is such a welcome place after a day of skiing, and the eating area is a lovely place to unwind together. And the kitchen is really well stocked.
