It is located about 10 miles west of Winthrop and about 3 miles, or a 5-minute drive, from a tasty scone or baguette at the Mazama Store.
The downstairs features a well-appointed kitchen that is ready for you to cook great meals for your friends and family. Enjoy your meals in the natural light of the beautiful dining nook, which seats 6 adults comfortably and offers views of Flagg Mountain and Goat Peak in the distance. The downstairs also features a toasty propane fireplace, a bedroom, a full bathroom, and a coat/boot room with an all-new washer and dryer to help you clean up after your adventures. While we generally appreciate going to a cabin to unplug, we do provide wireless internet, HDTV, and 4 K Blu-ray DVD with a Bluetooth-capable audio system for entertainment...There is an A/C mini split to keep you cool in the summer. What more could you want on vacation?
The upstairs features two larger bedrooms and a second full bathroom. All three bedrooms are furnished with very comfortable new queen beds with down comforters in the winter, and lighter bedding for summer. Many of our friends and guests remark that these mattresses are more comfortable than what they have at home. Let us know what you think!

Lovely cozy cabin. The kitchen was really well stocked. Fun selection of games too. Comfortable bedding.
The beds and pillows were ever comfortable, the kitchen was very nice and well stocked with cooking supplies. We did bring a blender to make frozen drinks but would not have expected one there. The grill was "ok" but really small and would have liked one that used a full size propane tank, but surprisingly the little grill did ok. The AC in the rooms was spectacular given how hot it can get there we learned, and loved the place. We were surprised about no dishwasher but again, not a disappointment just with how nice everything else was that was a surprising miss.
This place had everything we needed and more, even a first aid kit which we used when my daughter got a very small scrape on her hand.
Only pot holders otherwise kitchen very well stocked with excellent quality knives and cookware. Thank you !!
We appreciated the quality and variety of kitchen supplies. We also appreciated the sand for the driveway, which was an ice rink due to the warming temps.

Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your home. It was exactly what we need for a long weekend away. We particularly enjoyed being in the woods and being able to walk the loop each day. We appreciated that the cabin was ready when we arrived, perfectly cleaned, and had everything we needed. If we ever find ourselves back in the area we would love to stay again.
The Mazama Mountain Getaway is beyond expectation and simply perfect. My family and I (5 adults) gathered here for the holidays and found the cabin to be ideally located in the valley, wonderfully stocked with kitchen supplied and comfortable accruements, and a truly beautiful, serene place to rest and relax for several days. I highly recommend booking your Methow Valley stay here and enjoy the plush amenities!
