Yes, you heard it right-The Laundry House. Actually you can do a lot more than laundry here. This house is next to the community ski trail, and about a mile from Mazama. Located just north of Goat Creek Road, on the same side of the street as the 'ski field' in Mazama.
It features an open floor plan with the living/kitchen/and lounging area all in one space, along with propane stove. Also, is a separate bedroom with queen bed. Internet is provided, as well at TV/DVD player (no reception), and, of course, washer/dryer.
This one-bedroom cottage is one of 5 near-by 'Mazama Trails' lodgings. This house has the laundry facility at it's entrance, thereby the name. The 'front door' to the cottage is off of this shared space.
Note-Internet is available, however not high-speed. Depending on weather and other conditions, internet may not 'reach' the cabin. It is always available at the nearby recycle shed.

We have stayed at a few Mazama Trails cabins over the years and we LOVE them. The location is just wonderful - quiet, close to amenities, beautiful - and the accommodations themselves are perfect for what we need.
We have enjoyed staying at the Laundry House and Phil's other Mazama Trails cabins for many years. They're always comfortable, clean, and well-supplied. It was an unexpected pleasure to visit with him this trip.

Had everything that we needed and more - we had so much fun - really enjoy the rustic nature of the cabin, big windows, propane stove and proximity to the trails... thank you!
It had everything. I love the full size fridge and oven. We were able to save some money by bringing our own food. Bed was comfortable, there was lots of hot water, kitchen was very well stocked. Views are beautiful and it feels very private. Loved having the DVD player.
We had a wonderful stay. The cabin is very cozy, well stocked and in a great location. We’ll definitely be back.
The cabin was so peaceful and perfect for relaxing. Really liked that it was walking/biking distance to Mazama. Very dog friendly and we would definitely stay again.
The bed is very comfortable, the house was clean and well stocked. I love the location being so close to the Mazama Store and North Cascades for hiking. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else when visiting Mazama.
We love that the Laundry House is somewhat remote, yet is close to trails for hiking and biking.
Good place to stay. We enjoyed Winthrop town too. We loved the North Cascades National Park. Convenient spot, only 30 minutes away from the hikes we wanted to do on the SE side of the park. We enjoyed our stay.
