No SmokingThis cabin is best for two people; however, it can accommodate more visitors. The main floor has one bedroom, which can be visually opened up to the living area, as well as one full main-floor bathroom. The living room and kitchen are open, with a study off to the side. This study has a futon couch that can be used for additional sleeping by visitors or children. A wood stove can be used to take the chill off, or to heat the house alone. Principal heating is electric.
Additionally, there is a second-story bedroom with a half bath that is accessed via a ladder/stairway. The bedroom has two twin beds in a loft-like atmosphere. Intimate. But not stuffy or cramped.
It is situated in the Wolf Creek area, with the Nordic ski trail within 100 yards. Located about 6 ski miles from Winthrop. It receives good morning and afternoon light in the kitchen and bedroom/living room, respectively.

Enjoyed the numerous historical books on the Methow Valley and other local features. Loved the views from the windows of the cabin.
We have the best of memories at Merrill Cabin.. was he comfort or the cabin and the expanse or nature just a step out the door. Easily the most memorable and happy home we’ve come across. Thank you Methow Reservations for all you’ve done to make our stay such a great one!
I loved the location and the view. It was great to be so close to the ski trail. It was also very quiet. The wifi worked well.
