ABOUT THIS SPACE
Tucked away in North Village, this home offers an “away from it all” feel while still being steps from Old Town Winthrop. The home was designed by a well-regarded local craftsman and features beautiful wooden inlays and a walnut bar made from trees planted by the original settlers of the Methow Valley.
Cross a pedestrian suspension bridge over the Chewuch River, and you’re in the heart of the old west with historic restaurants, shops, and boardwalks. Come home to open space, valley views, stars at night, and the Sa Teekh Trail right outside your door.
The main living area includes a great room with family games, a reading nook, comfortable seating, a large dining table, and the walnut bar. The chef’s kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances, cooking essentials, and thoughtful extras for preparing meals.
The home accommodates up to four guests. The main floor features a California king primary suite with an en-suite bathroom, a soaking tub, and a walk-in shower, along with a laundry room and a half bath for guests. Upstairs, a second bedroom includes a queen bed, a writing desk with valley views, and a full bathroom with a shower.
A separate TV room with a wraparound sofa, Samsung Smart TV, and stereo system provides another space to gather. A large back deck with lounge seating and a dining table offers a private space to relax and take in the sunset. The garage is available for equipment storage and includes a workout area with a Concept2 bike and weights.
The home provides easy access to the Methow Community Trail for skiing, the Winthrop Rink for ice skating, and nearby lakes, rivers, and trails for swimming, rafting, biking, and hiking in the warmer months.

The home accommodates four guests and has a two-car limit. Parking is in the driveway only; there is no garage or street parking. North Village is a residential neighborhood where sound carries, especially with windows open or from the deck. Please observe quiet hours after 10 pm and no loud talking or music.

The place was perfect, the location beautiful and tucked away yet easy walk to main strip. Lovely neighbors in the neighborhood. Would go back again no questions.
1. Great location - easy walk to town via pedestrian bridge. 2. As the house is a “no shoes”, house, I missed that on the house rules before I got there. Recommend highlighting that in booking or have extra house slippers available. My feet need arch support. 3. Love Instant Hot Water heater. 4. Need kettle, mid-size pot. 5. No wash cloths.
We had a great stay and the hosts were responsive with questions. The place was super cute and spacious for 4 of us. Great location for day hiking at north cascades national park. Winthrop is a small town that was walking distance from the house but everything closes really early, about 5-6pm so we didn’t get to see much after hiking and showering to get back out for dinner. Overall, a great stay!
Super clean, new property. Very nice neighborhood with a beautiful short walk to the cute town of Winthrop.
The spacious kitchen, high-quality furniture in the living area, great natural light and good lighting in the evening were very much appreciated. The ability to walk to easily walk to town and to access the walking trail along the river was fantastic. A waxing bench in the garage was put to good use! We missed a few small things like a sauce pan, cheese grater and hair dryer - but we were able to work all of that out. I'd be thrilled to stay here again.
