No SmokingThis is an original 1920 Winthrop house. When it was built, there was a dirt road in front, and the river just beyond. For the last 30 years, it has been a Chiropractic office... and was recently carefully renovated into a 2-bedroom, 1-bath nightly rental... with easy ski trail access... walk to the Susie Stephens Trail and everything else in Winthrop. Very convenient... close to Winthrop’s new library, the Barnyard Cinema, our outdoor refrigerated ice rink (the only one in Washington), and our local eateries.
Like a lot of old farmhouses, you enter the house from the back porch and the kitchen. The living room and dining area are “out front. A King bedroom, a Queen bedroom, and a bath are just off the living room. The furnishings are comfortable and charming. The kitchen has old-fashioned charm and is cozy and welcoming. Well-behaved pets are welcome.

Charming old house that has been well renovated with cozy furniture. In spite of being on the main road, it was relatively quiet. The coffee itself was excellent.

Ample parking, comfortable beds! The house was great. clean, comfy, and space to move. a small yard, with furniture! the home is so dog friendly, there are bowls and dog beds!

Were there any specific amenities you particularly enjoyed -- or missed -- at Northwest Nights?
The place was very well outfitted-we had everything we needed! We really appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, snacks, coffee, and tea provided. The location was fantastic, it was so easy to walk to everything in Winthrop. We appreciated it being dog friendly as well. The porch/mud room was a huge bonus during winter time with lots of coats and gear!

Kitchen was well stocked. The candies, cookies and notes gave it a nice personal touch. Linens and extra blankets were great. The house had everything we needed.

The cabin has all the amenities needed: fuzzy blankets, plenty of quality pots/pans, dishes... even extra soap & shampoo.

Was a cozy home away from home. Made a great ski home base. So many thoughtful features. The location was also perfect with close access to walking/skiing trails and the food shed was right next door.We will definitely look to stay here for our next family ski vacation.

House is located a short (<5 minute) walk to winthrop rink. was perfect for a weekend hockey jamboree.< p> Thanks for hosting us. We all enjoyed the house.

Completely met our expectations. House had plenty of blankets and towels. There was a convenient mud room big enough for our hockey gear so we didn’t need to have it in the living area. Kitchen had plenty of cooking gear.
