No SmokingThis is a wonderful 2-bedroom 'cabin in the woods'-originally built in Winthrop, and transported to this 40 plus acre parcel in the Mazama corridor. The main floor features a hand-built stone fireplace, converted to propane, and is a wonderful place to chat with family and friends....there are two complete living room gathering spots, and a wonderful front porch, as well as a deck. There are two, spacious upstairs bedrooms, one with a Queen bed, and the second one with a Queen, and two Twin beds; as well as a table/desk. Downstairs there is also a leather fold out sleeper for an extra guest, or if someone wants to sleep on the main floor. Some of the amenities include coffee Grinder,propane barbeque,electric Heat,family games/puzzles,On-demand hot water heater and a Washer & Dryer.
**Please note** For your own safety, do not allow your pets to approach, or yourselves come near, touch, or temper with, the electric fence.1/4 mile walk to highway/ ski trail. There’s limited parking at the junction between Fawn Meadow Road and highway 20. Browns farm, which is a good access point to trails, is less than a one mile drive. This house is located in the greatest recreation area in the Methow Valley.

We love the fenced deck for the dogs! It makes being outside with them super relaxing. And of course, they love being allowed up on the beds !
The women loved staying in the cabin.
We loved the cabin. So cozy and had everything we need. The location is fantastic for a peaceful and fun wonder land vacation. Seriously we love the cabin and didn’t want to leave.
A TV would have been nice but not necessary. We were all too tired at the end of the night to do much after skiing. It has lovely views. We also love how remote it is from other rentals. We love the location being in the middle between mazama, Winthrop, and the community trail.

Nice secluded , private property. Very close to Cascades making it easy to go back and forth. Nice porch to hang out, fireplace for cool nights. Nice updated kitchen. Would I go back again if in the area? Absolutely! Great place for family.

Beautiful peaceful cabin and nature surrounding. Comfortable for dogs and their humans! Very well appointed kitchen, we had everything we needed to cook & cleanup. Highly recommend for an unplugged getaway!

Dog rules…Dogs rule! Great quiet spot to hang out, with close access to Mazama and Winthrop. Plenty of outdoor opportunities nearby. Really enjoyed our stay at this property.
Family getaway to see North Cascades NP.In Maine, we would liken this cottage to “Upta Camp”. Mildly rustic, in the woods, and not much to do (that’s a good thing). loved the espresso maker. A bear family walked right by our window first night there! Rental agency was very responsive to pick up trash since there is no bear proof receptacle available.
We stay here again and again because we love that the dogs are welcome and there is a fenced deck where we can all relax outside together
Charming cabin in a beautiful, peaceful, quiet setting. Very cozy and relaxing...and dog friendly, which was a must for us. We had a great time and our 6 month old lab did too and cannot recommend it highly enough.

Overall excellent experience! We had trouble finding the house because we arrived after dark, and the street sign for Fawn Meadow was on the opposite side of the road (with respect to all of the other road-identification signs). It would have been easier in daylight, and had the sign been more visible. The kitchen was especially well appointed with gadgets of all kinds and ample cooking pots. There was equally abundant bedding.
