Sleeps 1-4, Max Occupancy: 4
The owners of this home recently moved to Colorado, but to a great extent this is still their home, in the sense that this is where their heart lies. This home was lovingly remodeled recently and is a very pleasant place to be. The view out the west-facing windows is one of mountains and the river below. It sits on high bluff riverfront just above a grand turn in the Methow River.
There are two buildings on the land-the house and the studio. The studio is primarily used for extra sleeping when the family comes to visit, and it has a double Murphy-style pull-down bed, and another trundle bed (two twins). With that, there is still plenty of other room for sitting or storage. This building has no plumbing.
As you enter the home you are immediately in the kitchen, which then opens up to to living area, the deck, and then the view. The living area is mostly oriented toward the view, though there is a television which can comfortably be viewed by swiveling about. Just off the living room is a more formal office area, though there is another less formal office/craft room. The L-shaped kitchen comfortably seats 4 persons. There is a full bathroom from the hallway.
The home is a single story one, or two bedroom home. The principal master king bedroom has a 3/4 bath. The second view-facing room is typically used as a study, with a large desk that folds up and out of the way, which then allows a queen Murphy bed to be opened. So the room can be used for, either a full-time bedroom, and/or office/craft space.
The house is close enough to the Methow ski trails that the owners often don't drive, but instead ski, or bike from home. There is covered parking that can accommodate an electric vehicle with a 120 volt slow-charging system.
