The owners of this home recently moved to Colorado, but, to a great extent, it is still their home, in the sense that it is where their heart lies. This home was lovingly remodeled recently and is a very pleasant place to be. The view out the west-facing windows is one of mountains and the river below. It sits on a high bluff riverfront just above a grand turn in the Methow River.

The home is a single-story, two-bedroom home. The principal master king bedroom has a 3/4 bath. The second view-facing room is typically used as a study, with a large desk that folds up and out of the way, allowing a queen Murphy bed to be opened. So the room can be used for either a full-time bedroom and/or office/craft space.

As you enter the home, you are immediately in the kitchen, which then opens up to the living area, the deck, and then the view. The living area is mostly oriented toward the view, though there is a television that can be comfortably viewed by swiveling. Just off the living room is a more formal office area, though there is another less formal office/craft room. The L-shaped kitchen comfortably seats 4 persons. There is a full bathroom from the hallway.

There are two buildings on the land-the main house and the bunkhouse, which is primarily used for extra sleeping when the family comes to visit. It has a double Murphy-style pull-down bed, and an additional trundle bed (two twins). With that, there is still plenty of other room for sitting or storage. This building has no plumbing. This home can be rented with just the main house, or both buildings, for an extra charge.

Adjacent to the bunkhouse is a covered parking area with a 120-volt slow-charging system. Great for winter parking. The house is close enough to the Methow ski trails that the owners often don’t drive; instead, they ski or bike from home. Garbage and recycling are handled 1/4 mile away at a community collection system. Pets are welcome.
