No SmokingRocky Top is a charming modern log cabin located in the Edelweiss area of Mazama, adjacent to the National Forest. Cute and cozy with one bedroom with Queen bed, fully-equipped kitchen and one bathroom. The living room has a gas fireplace and electric heat.
Relax and enjoy the sunshine and multitude of birds from the picnic table or gaze at the mountain views from the spacious deck. Mountain bike straight from the cabin and enjoy the Rendezvous trails up behind Edelweiss, or the many trails along the Valley floor, just minutes away. Groomed MVSTA cross-country ski trail access is just a short drive away in winter.
Enjoy the shopping, arts, and dining of Winthrop, just a 15 minute drive from the cabin. Rocky Top is perfectly situated in the upper Methow Valley for maximum access to all it has to offer you while on vacation.
Please note-In winter the driveway can be icy so a 4-wheel drive car or chains are recommended. It is also possible to park at the base of the driveway and walk up.- Board/Family Games

This place is perfect for a quiet anniversary trip. Can’t wait to come back. Our hike plans in NCNP were foiled by the road closure, as was our plan to complete the scenic highway loop. But we found alternative hikes, there are so many good ones! And more lovely stillness in the forest than we had planned. The bed is very comfortable
The fenced patio with gardens is great. Loved the back deck. Love the overall vibe and architecture.
So easy to check in and close to a lot of great hikes and too many amazing pastries and scones in Mazama. Decks and fenced garden were so nice.

This was our third visit to Rocky Top. Love the quiet and the big fenced-in yard for the dog. Comfy bed. Everything we needed except a blender.
Love the setting - quiet and private yet not far from town. The cabin is warm and cozy, especially with the gas stove. And you allow us to bring our dog.
Incredibly cozy cabin close to everything but with a very private feel. Loved the attention to a well stocked kitchen, as well as the luxurious bath. Would definitely stay again!

The location, views, and propane stove are great.
Had a nice two night stay. Very cozy and lovely cabin. The gas fireplace adds nice ambiance and warmth. The living area, with has two large windows that bring in the forest and is a nice view. The court yard is a nice space to hang out outside. The cabin was spotless.

Great place with good access to hiking.
The cabin was very clean and the grounds lovely. We felt very safe and secure there. We loved watching the antics of the resident chipmunk. The cabin was fully stocked and we were in want of nothing. We spent our days reading, taking drives and visiting the wonderful Mazama Store for bakery good. All in all, a great trip.
The windows in the cabin are abundant! We loved the outdoor spaces, especially the outside “bar” with the view. Everything was incredibly clean, even the towels smelled fresh. The cabin was very well temperature controlled and very peaceful and quiet.
We love Rocky Top! It's a great little getaway made even better by it's proximity to both Mazama and Winthrop. We will stay here again for sure!Had a fantastic stay (even with the smoke).
