It has 3 bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom, and a queen-size sofa sleeper in the living room.
Steelhead Lodge features a river-stone fireplace and spacious living room ideal for gatherings and small meetings of 6-10 people. There are new appliances in both the fully equipped kitchen and laundry room. The lodge features the latest technology, including high-speed Wi-Fi, a big-screen TV in the living room with DirecTV, Apple TV, a DVD player, and Bose sound system, as well as flat-screen TVs with DirecTV in each bedroom.
Steelhead Lodge is just steps from the MVSTA Community Trail, with 120 miles (200+ kilometers) of trails for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, and mountain biking. Freestone Lake has two beaches and is stocked annually with trout for ccatch-and-releasefly fishing. Nearby are abundant hiking trails, rock-climbing faces, and the legendary North Cascades National Park. Guests of Steelhead Lodge enjoy complimentary access to the community pool, hot tub, and amenities of the Freestone Inn.

Methow reservations team did a great job responding when a tree fell down in the driveway and letting us know about the internet after it was down for 24 hours. The location is fantastic... being able to ski essentially from the house... everything was great except the seating in the living room is enough for 4 people and the house sleeps 6-8 people. This would prevent me from booking here again if we were a group of more than 4 people. We want to hang out and visit with eachother and this would not have been a comfortable space for doing that. Otherwise, the rest of the amenities of the house were great. So, recommendation would also only be for groups of 4 or less people, in which case there are probably more affordable options.
Fantastic house, great for family gathering - all 3 bedrooms with their own bathroom was a big plus! Gorgeous spot on the lake, and great proximity to Mazama and nearby hikes!
This cabin is amazing. It's basically a lakefront cabin as there are views of a small, private lake from every room of the house. It's 20 steps to the freestone hot tub as well. Spacious, clean, nice cabins.

This cabin was incredible for our trip! The back porch has the perfect view of the lake and mountains and only a 20 minute drive into Winthrop! It had everything we wanted and more.

We loved the beautifully equipped house Great furniture and Kitchen supplies Our only issue was with the double beds. Queen sized mattresses would have made for a much better sleep. Great house!

Our group had a lovely stay! The house is situated with lovely views of the water and was well appointed. The house is walkable to the lodge which made it extremely convenient for the wedding we were attending. We would recommend!
Loved the house! Was a wonderful, relaxing space after long days of vigorous hikes. The pool, hot tub, and fishing lake provided great, low-key recreation for a day off of hiking!
It was very nice to have attractive cloth placemats & napkins. We appreciate how well stocked & appointed the kitchen is as we like to cook.
Lodge was well kept, in good order, and clean. Great to have snow shovels and ice-melt at the ready. Ski wax bench was a great plus too.
