The Mazama Trails Studio Cottage is a small cozy cabin that sits just below Flagg Mtn., located just 1.3 miles east of the Mazama Store. It is a one-room apartment with room for one, or two people. Close to the Methow Valley ski trail (in the winter), and bike trail in the summer. Simple, cozy, efficient.
It has a large covered porch to enjoy the view and listen to nearby Goat Creek running around the eastern shoulder of the mountain. The MVSTA trail is adjacent to the property, offering miles of access to the beautiful landscapes of the upper valley. Easily accessible off the county road with any vehicle.

We had a wonderful stay! It was so peaceful and quiet and spending our evenings out in the front porch was our favorite!
I am so so so happy that I was able to book via Methow reservations versus a big booking site. It's been a few months, but I think my trajectory was looking at Hipcamp vs Airbnb, seeing the ski in cabins, and then a few clicks or google searches to find the local reservations site which led me to the Mazama Trails cabins. If I can help in any way to make a clear pathway for other folks to book via Methow Reservations, please let me know, I loved this cabin and the whole area and I love any opportunity to support local businesses.

We like the easy access to trails without having to drive. The cabin is cozy and a good size for two people.
The cabin was great. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots, pans and utensils to cook with. The heated floors in the bathroom were amazing! The small AC unit was perfect for the warm weekend.
Everything was great about this place. Lovely cabin with comfy bed, kitchen, underfloor heating and air conditioning. Close to hiking in the North Cascades and plenty to see locally on rainy days. Great local trail network. Didn’t want to leave ! Hosts were responsive and helpful.
I treasure these uniquely handcrafted cabins in the woods—rustic and with all the amenities you could ask for. I’ve been staying in this little grouping of cabins for 10+ years. My preferred go-to for a peaceful, magical getaway. I also appreciate that the owner keeps these cabins in a moderate price range for those of us who don’t want to take out a second mortgage just to go on vacation!

The cottage was well appointed, bed was very comfortable. I’d suggest considering replacing the patio chairs with similar ones that recline with the footrest.
