No SmokingThis is a dog friendly,local Winthrop home right in town, just above the old west boardwalk, one street up. This house was built in 1955 and retains that old mid-century charm. The upstairs bedrooms feature the ever-so-popular 50's knotty pine paneling. The living room is cozy with a coffered ceiling. The stairs are narrow and steep with a handrail. The kitchen has been modernized, but still maintains some of the sense of Grandma's house. Coffee lovers will enjoy the assortment of coffee eqipment(regular,aeropress,french press, coffee grinder)
The main floor has a shared living room with Smart TV and a dining table.It has 4 A/C units located in the living and bedroom spaces. Kitchen is on the right, with a laundry area behind the kitchen and passage way to the rear. There is a larger queen bedroom and full bath on the main floor. Up the stairs are two dormer bedrooms and 3/4 bath
"Out back', through the back door is fenced backyard with lawn, a deck on the north side of the house with several tables for dining outside,Weber gas BBQ,and outdoor games. There is a shed to hold bicycles(4-6 bikes,depending on the size).

Nice place. Well decorated and appointed.
The house is located just above town and within walking distance to restaurants and shops - it was very convenient to not have to get into the car for every outing. The house is older and smaller but has everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Located one block up from the heart of Winthrop. this place was perfect for our family getaway. We felt right at home and would happily stay here again.
Enjoyed the coffee maker options. I brought ground beans and was very convenient.

The house was a perfect vacation rental! One block away from downtown and a quick drive to the lake. It was a little warm on the first day, but the AC units in each of the rooms did a great job all the other days. Would stay again!
This is the ideal location for a visit in Winthrop! The house is cute and well kept. We were thankful for the fully fenced yard for our dogs! The air conditioning is window units. The house is only 1 block from the main road through town, perfect for walking and not worry about parking!

The AC was great - house stayed fairly cool in the heat. Loved the location. The owner was great at communicating when I needed help. Would stay here again when we're in town!
We had a great getaway weekend celebrating my mom’s 86th birthday in Winthrop while staying at the Wrangler Inn. The location was ideal, the house spotless, and the accommodations were the perfect size for the five of us and our two dogs. Everything was accurately described and exceeded our expectations. This house is in a great location and worked out well for the 6 people in our group.
Our group of 6 stayed here for a weekend (2 nights) for a nearby trail race event and loved how close it was to the sun mountain trail system, and walkable to many cute restaurants and shops, the river and nearby walking paths. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. The fenced yard and the dog-specific items were perfect for the pup our friends brought. The house had everything we needed for a weekend of relaxing after lots of trail running. We would love to return someday!

We all liked the house. The kitchen was easy to use and well stocked with pots and pans. Everything worked well. The living room was cozy and comfortable. Heating was easy to use. The house was well stocked with paper products. Necessary tools were well supplied. The location was excellent. Downtown was a very easy walk. The neighborhood was quiet. The sporting goods shops were close with helpful staff. We would stay there again.
Very close walking distance to town, < 5 mins to shops. Great restaurants, we loved Meza! Centrally located near Nordic trails. Quiet location, with big bedrooms, comfortable beds, well lit areas. Stairs are steep to upstairs bedrooms, not great for little ones or mobility impaired folks. Great fenced in back yard for pets or star gazing, or calling to the neighbor owl. Well stocked and spacious kitchen. Comfy couch to relax after hitting the trails. Would stay here again.
