Hilltop House - Winthrop, WA (View on Map)

This is a family house. It’s where everyone has gathered for the holidays and special occasions over the last 25 years. They love this house, and it shows. It’s located on the edge of a bench of land just above Winthrop, with a view and deck facing south toward Mount Gardner and the Sawtooth Range.

As you approach the house, there is ample parking for at least three vehicles. The front entrance is covered for snow in the winter and sun in the summer. The living room is spacious with ample seating and a game area. A Chromecast device is available that lets you stream movies, shows, live TV, YouTube, and photos to the TV from all your family’s devices. There is a deck ‘out back’ that can be easily accessed via doors in the living room and the dining area. The dining table can seat up to 8 guests comfortably, and there is additional seating at the kitchen bar. The kitchen is open and light-filled with windows to the north and a deck to the south. A “Russian Stove” separates the living and dining area and is fundamental to the enjoyment of the house during the cold months. If operated properly, a large amount of heat can be retained within the stove and brick structure. Starting a fire in the morning and evening can supplement the house’s heating. Central A/C and Heat help to keep the home cool in the summer and warm in the winter. There is access to a garage for 1 car.

There are three bedrooms down the hall'-a main bedroom with a queen bed, a bedroom with a double bed, and the bunk room. The shared bath has a tub/shower and is adjacent to the bedrooms.

Dogs are allowed with certain limitations. No puppies or huge hairy beasts. Maximum of two dogs and no sitting/sleeping on beds or furniture. Proper dog etiquette is expected.
